No way! The alternative to DVD is now being challenged by Blue Ray and XD, XD has 30GB but is supported by Hollywood and already has XD versions of some movies in the US, and Blue Ray has 50GB but they have support from leading brands of electronics. Most likely the battle will be won by HD as it is enough for 1080 horizontal lines HD video vs. 500 for DVD and 6.1 sound. Again, these discs are of interest only to moviegoers, as audio DVD-A and SuperACD have reached the limit of perfection.
