Until it closes in my opinion. I.e. you have to go back before it closes, so count how much you need.

You can enter at least on the last day of the visa, but you have to go back at once

As far as the United States is concerned you may enter the country as long as your visa is valid, even on the last day of your stay in the country. Period of stay in the USA is determined not by visa validity period but by the period of time you are allowed to stay in the country, as a rule it could be as long as 3-6 months. So entering on the last day of visa validity you get 3-6 months of stay.
