Don't worry. They're obliged to pay you your pension from the moment you apply, if the documents are correct. But these dogs from the Pension Fund are picking on every blot and sniffing out every piece of paper. Write complaints to all the authorities, up to and including the President.

Not true. The pension is appointed within a month, and the application is submitted a month before the retirement age.

if you are a citizen of the russian Federation, they appoint them quickly, this means that you have some kind of nuances

My retirement age is in January, I applied in December and received my first pension in February. So, as long as you're okay. If something was wrong you would have been told.

The application itself is submitted to the Pension Fund 2 months before the pension is due. During this time, the FIU reviews the documents. And if there are incomprehensible, incorrect entries the name of the organization written does not match the name on the seal; the seal is not readable, there are missing entries. The FIU notifies the recipient of the need for clarification. That is, you or the other will be sent to those questionable organizations for confirmation of records and seals. And only after that they will return to the documents again. Within a month from the date of retirement age accrual is made. This is for citizens of the Russian Federation and if the length of service is completely in the Russian Federation. If a citizen of the Russian Federation has work experience in the former USSR countries in his/her employment record book, the time limit is altered to 6 months. If they are not citizens of the Russian Federation. If you are not a citizen of the Russian Federation, the procedures are even more complicated. If you know that the documents are all in order, go again to the FIU or call. You can complain: the hot line to the higher FIU, although the answer will be formal-standard - all correctly done. You can also go to the prosecutor's office. So at least the answer will be written.

If they do not appoint a pension then they are waiting for some documents. When you submit your documents, the receipt should indicate which documents are to be submitted additionally. Additional documents can wait no more than 3 months, and then they will be obliged to make a decision on the available documents. If they will not be able to appoint them, then they will refuse. So if I were you, I would ask the reason for the delay.
