The legal and physical addresses may be different, but this fact must be spelled out in the Charter of the legal person and therefore be registered in the NI. In case your correspondence sent to your actual address is returned with a note by the post office that there is no legal entity at that address, you could be held administratively liable.

They must. See the laws on limited liability companies and joint-stock companies. If you find a mismatch you have to make changes to the USRLE within a month and then get excluded from the register if you do not enter it then the Federal Tax Service can block the bank accounts illegally. And a fine for providing incorrect information.
