I pour castrol on their off site there is a section where you can check dealers type in your city and voila a list of dealers who sell official oil with a certificate. You come to the store to verify that you have a certificate to show you the oil. I always buy bottled oil, no problems at all in 10 years. Lately I've been buying at the OIL-market.

I used to get that on Castrol. Got over a liter after 1000 miles and still ate MAX and under MIN. Never took it again It went out before my eyes.

I've been using only native factory in branded containers for about 10 years. I've had it in a Zhugul. Poured the fresh stuff in once, I heard a banging noise. I drained it at once and poured the other oil. Never had any more problems with oil. I always buy from the same place now - they watch the quality and advise me fast. They don't have the sense to go through the trouble.

Half of russia drives on fake oil and they still praise it, but when it's not motor oil but industrial or transformer oil, or pure fuel oil, then someone will notice, and so everyone drives and doesn't notice

I had it. after changing the pressure light started blinking when warm. changed it right away. even though I bought it at a major chain store. And half of the oil and 6ash brands and imported spilled in Pushkino, so I understand the basis is the same. and additives are different.
