I don't know how to bypass it. But you can do the following: save it to BMP, then open it with PAINT, and save it to JPG

Same thing. It has nothing to do with viruses It's something with visual codecs and nowadays GIF and JPG protection by cutting For example if it's an animation you can save only first frame in bmp format.
