I love messing around with yeast dough. Roll out the yeast dough into a layer. On it lay an even layer of poppy seeds boiling until the water evaporates: 1 cup poppy seed + 1 cup water twisted or minced with sugar 2x1 at least two times or with a blender to a mushy state and roll up. Brush the top with egg. Bake until browned. The taste is unique. Can be made as filled pies if you don't want rolls

I have apples and pears baked in puff pastry today. Apples with cinnamon and drizzled with caramel and pears with vanilla and drizzled with melted chocolate.
