I know for a fact there's no harm in a new microwave. Only if you use it for a long time can the insulation in the door go bad and the microwaves will go out. But if everything is in good working order the microwaves don't harm the food inside.

It's all nonsense! Progress has stepped forward a long time ago. In general, if you are afraid of waves of any kind then you cannot use a cell phone or a radiotelephone or a TV set or a computer and many other things they say you cannot use. I do and I am always for it. One should be afraid of something else that is more global. Ozone holes such as global warming.

I recently started using a microwave, and it was not because I did not want to. There were other reasons. I can say with confidence that life is such that you can not be sure about anything, neither about food nor water. I think you understand me. And microwave - they have improved in recent years that the radiation is reduced to a minimum. We get it no less than from other devices.
