Worst glass I've ever seen: everything is sacrificed for resolution - above all blur. Resolution is usually useless, but blur is the first thing the viewer sees in the picture.

The lenses I know suck the most. I'm going to go on record as saying: There are simply no worse lenses than Sigma. They are all different. Some are okay and some are not. And even within the same lens. It's better to use ALWAYS and EVERY lens instead of some crappy Sigma. I do not understand how and how sigma turned from a cheap junk for beggars top of the line glass at the price of originals to align them through a docking station for 4 kosars. I've seen people fuck around with it. Three days at a time. And if you decide to try a zoom lens as well, it's a total PE. And it's done purely on the basis of software alignment of the lens driver. You can't think of anything worse. You will torture your camera yourself while you are adjusting it. You have to take it to an authorized service. Or you can adjust it through the camera if you have one. And when you change the lens, you'll forget to turn it off sometimes and it'll be so much fun.

My opinion on Sigma. Very unpredictable quality. From perfect to total crap.

There is a video review of the ART line by Sigma which says that you should only pay attention to 85 1.4 from this line

Well the 35 1.4 is okay. True their APO technology sometimes gives you hardly distinguishable grayish brownish outlines where other lenses would draw CA but that's if you look under a microscope. And yes they weigh a lot too. The difference in AF stability is also there, but it's easier to adjust the fix on the dock. It's a real hassle adjusting the zooms.
