They probably do. My suggestion is not to view alcoholism as a good/bad category, but to look at the phenomenon objectively. One of the reasons for the tendency to alcoholism is mental vulnerability, lack of understanding with others. And along with this is a special inner world, having which it is quite possible a person thinks about many philosophical questions.

It's hard to say. What they definitely think about is drinking, and drinking is the life of an alcoholic, so alcoholics think about life.

they wouldn't drink if they didn't think a lot. these are people who have come to the conclusion that life is a bad thing.that they are deluded, they no longer understand, because alcohol kills brain cells that contribute to thinking.
