Silver cleans well with ammonia. That's how I clean chains and rings, I put it in ammonia. As for gold, in addition to tooth powder you can also use soapy water, if stones need to be cleaned, they can be cleaned with a burnt match, they shine like new!

It's best to brush with regular toothpaste and an old toothbrush. Many people advise cleaning with baking soda but in my experience after baking soda I have noticed scratches on the product. So good luck cleaning!
