I was in Alma-Ata in April 198. On the 7th of the 8th or 9th. I don't remember anymore, on a tour. I liked it: we flew in and it snowed on the pink almonds in bloom! The city is very beautiful, the lagman is very tasty, the Kazakhs we met were very hospitable. Snow-covered Alma-Ata is sometimes a dream. The Uighurs were selling huge fresh radishes. My husband served in Kazakhstan, in Ayaguz on the border with China, he has different memories. What kind of state Kazakhstan is now is not for us to judge, but for those who live there from the inside. My friend, who taught at a university in Pavlodar, was forced to leave her home country for Russia when the USSR collapsed. Before that she was fine there, she had an apartment and a dacha. She had to leave!

I like it very much, I lived a long time in Kostanay! I love it! I lived in Kostanay for a long time! The food is amazing, good education, a lot of beautiful places: though, what can I say, everywhere has its faults!

Big Republic. Ah, I liked the roads, back in 1989, returning from Altai, from the virgin lands. As soon as the conditional border we entered, immediately the road is wider, elevated, the coating is coarse-grained. Passed Pavlodar and Peropavlovsk, right away the hole and it was on.

was born and lived until '95 in Alma-Ata, then I left and I can't remember it now. If it was not for the Kalbits, not to be confused with normal Kazakhs, I would not have left.

Born in Kazakhstan in Petropavlovsk. I lived in Mamlyutka. Now all my relatives are there. I miss them, of course, but I don't want to go back to Kazakhstan. I've been living in Russia in Tula Oblast for 20 years now.

lived in Almaty for a long time, it's still the best city for me. It's very beautiful! I won't even talk about the cuisine because I think Uighurs and Kazakhs cook better than anyone else. And my girlfriends (Kazakhs and Uighurs) taught me a lot. It pisses me off that some freaks think that people in Kazakhstan still ride camels around town. /It's a pity I haven't been there for three years, I hope to go there next year.
