Torez Ukr. Torez is a city of regional significance in the eastern Donetsk region of Ukraine. It is located on the highway Donetsk-Lugansk Population - 68.3 thousand people 2004 The first settlement on the territory of modern city was founded in the 70s of the XVIII century at the confluence of the rivers Orlov and Sevastyanovka Mius pool by runaway serfs from the central provinces of Russia.
