If I understood correctly, you have a residence permit in Russia - wait 5 years, if you live in Russia for at least 9 months a year, have parents, children - citizens of Russia, or may be you are going to marry a Russian, then simplified procedures may be applied to obtain citizenship - from 1 to 3 years?

The waiting period may last up to 5 years, sometimes even longer. It may be easier to buy it.

If I'm not mistaken 5 years but could be faster

It seems that 5 years is the general rule, but the term can be reduced and, if I do not change my memory, it can be reduced to 3 years, but I do not remember the conditions.

With a petition to the President of the Russian Federation, you can get it done in one year

According to our housing fund there are citizens of Ukraine and Moldova, so they all received Russian citizenship within a year after receiving a residence permit. True, they are husbands and wives of Russian citizens.
