Is a Schengen visa cancelled after a name change? and got a better answer

Three years ago a similar situation occurred to my relatives. Only the question was different - to change the name immediately, or not, because there was a 5-year Schengen. Calling the official structures showed that, if the passport is changed due to a change of name, the visa would have to get it again. For the new surname. And the option - to go with a new passport, but to show the old - does not work. According to the latest but not yet clarified by me, this option is possible if the passport is changed. but all the data remains the same. But again, this is not accurate either. If I were you, I would call the consulate or the official visa center and clarify everything firsthand. Because everything that the TA employee told you - it is nowhere fixed. They will send you back, and he will say that nothing of the kind he told you.

I wonder how you will show your marriage certificate at the passport control in the Czech Republic without a translation into Czech and a notarized translation, and explain that you changed your name and passport. And how will they identify you at the passport control if your visa and passport are in different names. Make a request to the Czech and Spanish consulates. You will most likely need to cancel your visa at the Spanish consulate and apply for a new one at the Czech visa center.
