If it's only the price difference that counts, then the D3000. You'll love the price: It's stupid to choose your camera with that kind of knowledge package. You should color match your jacket.

When you're getting a used camera it's important to know how to test it. I wouldn't risk taking my first used camera from someone on the outside. What does it come with besides the camera body?

Check the mileage and the number of shutter actuations. What is the best looking camera. I would take the D5100.

Actually these two foicks have the same sensor literally but everything else they have is oooooo different and EVERY detail of that is better on the D7000 so no choice: D7000.
