The only time my son came home drunk. In 11th class. Or rather, his friends brought him home. My husband washed him and put him to bed. The next day he felt awful. Said he tried it. Doesn't want any more. Now he's 37. Totally not addicted to alcohol. But all young people want to try. Had enough.

If the kid is wasted, help him undress and go to bed. If he's just drunk, nothing, I guess. What can you do? It is normal, in youth they try alcohol and get drunk. It's the right time. Then it just won't be that interesting

Just talk, for starters. I used to come home drunk and get beaten up for it too. Didn't see anything wrong with me drinking though, if the company was drinking and I just tried it? Maybe she tried it, but did not like it, why yell why? Punish, etc.? Just talk, be a friend for her:
