I rowed and sailed on inflatable catamarans from Artybash tourist center from north to south and back, all the Teletskoe Lake, and rafted on Biya from the Teletskoe Lake to Biisk. I was only 15 years old at that time! I still remember the taiga, the smell of pine and cedar, bushes of currants and wild onions. I still remember the high taiga, the smell of pine and cedar trees, currant and wild onion herds, horses under the care of the local Altai boys, the waterfall Korbu in Gorno-Altaisk reserve - the beauty is indescribable! And steppe honey. I've never had such honey in my life. A souvenir from that trip, a real claw of a bear, is still kept by me.
