I don't believe in this. There is no such thing as fate, that's nonsense. In that case, whatever happens to you is your destiny! That's just plain stupid.

A lot of things are out of our hands, but what definitely depends on us is the perception of what has already happened, or what may happen. In short, be optimistic, unless of course you like to sow good around you, in which case, if something sad happens, it is at least not retribution for what you have done, but perhaps further nurturing of virtues.
