Among the people I met on my life path, there was only one who had been to the DPRK. I would not even call him an acquaintance - we had a chance to spend several days together at the potato plant, remember this rather strange practice of Soviet times? In his estimation, North Korea at that time gave the impression of a country that was prospering at the expense of no one knows what. He was not of a mind to offer himself the simplest and most natural interpretation of the phenomenon: Man's will and labor create miraculous wonders. Naturally, there will always be those who are unwilling to work honestly for their country and prefer to exist on handouts from its enemies, proclaiming themselves an honest opponent of the regime for the sake of it!
