Good afternoon If this program is really yours I mean if you wrote it then by default you can do anything. I don't know how you open the file but if its name is passed as parameter then analyze either file extension or its signature if you have one. In short, determine what kind of file your program will use and act accordingly. The same is true if the file is selected in the open dialog Good luck!
