As far as I remember, when microwaves are sold, they come with instructions and metal holders. The film is needed so that when you turn the oven inside the oven stands do not damage the inner surface of the microwave Condensation does not happen in the microwave - you can safely rip off the film and throw it in the trash can.

you can rip the film off.Or when you buy your cell phone you still walk around with the film glued on.

if it's just a transparent film, tear it off and throw it away and if it's a mesh, it's radiation protection and it's actually weird that it's on the inside and your microwave oven is not stainless steel, if it's a metal case with a special coating inside it's understandable and otherwise it shouldn't be there

tear it off and throw it away all the radiation protection is metallic and this film protects the glass from scratches. Moreover, it probably is not heat resistant and probably emits something when heated, usually fluorine compounds which is not good.

The film on the microwave oven glass HAS a METALLIC DISTANCE which is why it is dark. This is an ADDITIONAL PROTECTION against HIGH HIGH frequency microwave beams. Take the torn dark film out of the trash can and put it back on the microwave oven glass ASAP! This DARK FILM was installed by the microwave manufacturer for a reason. And what people wrote earlier on this issue so they wrote about the translucent film. And if they wrote about the DARK film that you can rip it off and throw it away, they wrote from too big a mind. They should have studied physics better.

It's a thermal film! And it serves to protect against grease and all that comes from cooking and also reflects heat. If you tear off the film, you'll just burn the inside of your microwave door.
