They will if they don't die by then. The catfish will be chasing these goldfish at night anyway.

They may or may not grow. If the goldfish are healthy, well nourished and their immunity is not reduced, then the tails are likely to grow. However, if the tails nibbled to the root or the fish are weakened by poor conditions or inadequate food, can develop PLAVNIKA rot. Goldfish, it is better to keep apart, they are terribly slow, and they can get a lot of damage from other fish. I have goldfish not bad lived with small catfish corydoras. And, in general, goldfish are pretty good at vacuuming up the ground without any catfish.
