I have no children, but I have lied about it with or without cause. I tell you at once, it cannot be cured.

I used to lie for any reason, and I still do. And it's horrible. Get rid of your kids.

Maybe they're not lying, but fantasizing, or maybe you're forcing them to lie.

Fantasy finds a way out, don't stress it all will pass.

It depends on the age of the child, I have a girl she is 4,5 and it's not that she is lying she sometimes mixes up yesterday or a long time ago, what she ate in kindergarten all depends on her age

do nothing. This is WHO you are! It will pass by itself. Been through this EVERY SINGLE TIME. You just have to make it clear that parents are NOT idiots and can ALWAYS tell when a child is lying.

Mine lies, I talk to them all the time.

They were liars themselves, they just do not need to know about it and it helps us to find them out.

Remember yourself and you'll see. In my opinion all children lie, it shows their wild imagination. My also lie from time to time, the most important thing to calculate the lies immediately, otherwise they will become a rule.

This period happens with all children from about 4-5 years I would say not lying and fantasizing I also had a similar period in my daughter, the main thing is not to get angry and not to show their discontent sharply, just I explained to her that it was not good and fantasizing we both constantly:

It all depends on the age of the child my daughter 4 6 years sometimes happens that she lies I do not scold her and try to explain that his mother can not lie and deceive. If she lied to me in a quiet way talk to bring her to the truth. I do it easily. But by no means flogging.

Hi! I have two of them a girl and a boy plus I also work at a school so I often deal with children and of course with their lies too. If children start to lie it is advisable to expose them immediately if possible and wean them off this dirty business and the sooner the better not then they will lie more and more often and the older they are the more serious and with consequences can be their lies Good luck to you and honest kids!

there may be a reason for everything. Maybe they have a rich imagination. Maybe they are afraid to admit something. They don't know what to say or they take their parents as an example.

My son lies from time to time. He does this on two occasions: 1. when he has done something wrong and is afraid to confess 2. when he wants to draw attention to himself, to stand out in some way. I used to lie when I was a child, I still remember the touching stories that I told the neighbors about my incredible achievements in the household in order to get the cherished praise. Ashamed of it even now there are still 3. When a child is usually up to 5-6 years is poorly distinguished where the tale, where the truth, and composing a fairy tale, it is as if moved into her world. If the story of your child does not fit into all of the above, try talking to a teacher or psychologist, maybe you should be concerned about this problem at a specialist level? Good luck

If children are small and the lies are harmless it is a fantasy game. It is not necessary to be frightened. All kids go through it. Some even became good writers. But the lies in adolescence are alarming. It seems that there is no trust in parents. Punishment isn't the answer. Just take a sincere interest in your child's life, and don't lecture more often, and speak from the heart. Do not command, and advise, talk to him as an adult. Teenagers appreciate it. And it makes no sense to lie about everything.

email me. There is a book by Marina Kravtsova if a child tells a lie. Sorry for the delay - can't send an email. Please confirm receipt.

I share my experiences, and from the side of the children In my opinion, too valuable I sometimes lie to parents Do not want to be ashamed - honestly But sometimes you have to Often in this case, people parents themselves are to blame for lying [No offense - this is just my opinion and I will try to substantiate it! ] Just they do not adequately perceive the truth! I agree that the truth can be different. Well, here's an example: Let's say a child has problems at school with his grades. He got a couple of grades. What should he do? Should he tell his parents or not? Of course at the end of a quarter or semester the final results will have to tell But what to do now? You can tell And parents will gnaw you silly do not study and so on! And they do not think that the child is not happy to fail! [Again, not all parents react in this way] Two Junior will fix the problem But parents will be nervous he will be nervous himself Result: Assessment fixed nerves exhausted Or if he hides the truth and to the questionkak how things go to school? answers everything OK, then he just quietly learns everything and corrects the grade And parents will know the final positive result Result: Assessment fixed all happy and calm [I'm talking about my behavior in such situations, but again, children are different! ] Here if parents will react normally with understanding - that it's bad, but you could try, but do not worry and make it better! -I'll always tell them everything! Yes, there is another truth - for which you should scold them and the children know it That's why they hide it And it is not their parents' fault What to do? Try to inspire confidence It may be worthwhile to remember and tell your children about their youth As you were kidding Well, of course without the intimate details depending on the age of the child Then the child will understand that the parent is also a person and was once the same And in principle is able to understand And before scolding the child think about whether it is worth it? Well, certainly do not praise for the bad things just talk to try - like an adult Maybe he will understand
