You're shooting it wrong. You need to see not only the top of the hat, but also the bottom, the "collar" if any, the stem.

this kind of mushroom is scarce in our woods, moose have nothing to eat. It's a toadstool. I almost crushed a half-sleeping viper, though. It gave me speed towards home. Ugh! Now I see it everywhere.
