HP 2605 DM - Very good printer. I personally had an HP 2600 N D - that's with duplex - awesome stuff, it prints on both sides. EGOIST - he doesn't know jack shit about printers - you CANNOT refill the cartridges - first of all you instantly lose your warranty on the printer. I'm telling you as a support person at a service center. Secondly: you risk damaging your printer. The fuser unit fires because of the refilled cartridges and repairing the fuser unit on a laser will cost more than a new laser. Third: Newer printers have chip cartridges. They cannot be refilled. So you have to buy new cartridges - always!

HP - this is always good if you learn how to refill toner cartridges in general - beauty!
I use and advise others CANON - unpretentious reliable and a big plus you can fill ink cartridges yourself, just buy the ink native
