I read somewhere that such a dream is a memory of your birth. The white houses were doctors, you were looking up at them and it's imprinted in your subconscious.

I would advise you not to read the dream books at all, because they are 90 per cent lies. It is better to consider this dream from the point of view of your inner reality. 4 beautiful white houses on the top of a cliff or a ravine - at the appearance of such images your subconscious mind does not give out any meaningful meaning.
