No in terms of photos it won't be worse. And the video is better but the autofocus is not very good either. And in general, normal guys twist his hands of course, but in general - right you here have written. It makes no sense to change one old camera for another old camera. It's very good in almost everything. And noticeably better than the D3100 in everything. The optics are a bit of a problem, but not to that extent. And the kit is very good but you have to choose depending on the specimen. Take it and you will not regret it. Autofocus is great EVF, etc.
