I'm surprised at the answers of some respondents: I'm not old enough. I'm 30 years old, once graduated from philology department and reread Dostoevsky Schopenhauer, Camus Sartre, etc. And not just reread but understood and realized, moreover I like these authors. ForMaster was taken several times the biggest comprehension - 32 pages. More just can not even kill. So even since my student days Bulgakov is on a par with Saltykov-Shchedrin, which I also can't stand. Am I too immature? Well, do not like the work of man, so what's the big deal?
