What do you mean cyborgs? If you mean people with coded psyche. I remember Boris Strugatsky in an interview with Argumenty i Fakty, when answering the question Mass zombification of society is increasing: sects, suicide clubs, soap operas and TV commercials, electoral technologies. Mankind is being manipulated? said: - Mankind has been manipulated since time immemorial. Orators, dictators, prophets, clergymen, poets after all. I don't see anything new here. And I don't think that the situation will change significantly in the coming decades, unless methods of massive direct influence on the brain are invented. And even then, I suspect, we will somehow adapt. If we don't go crazy, of course. And here I agree with him.
