I think the situation is as follows: you use a camcorder to shoot in RAW files, you know nothing about file extensions and they don't work in Windows - that's the default setting and you copy RAW files from the camcorder without knowing what to do with them and complain about the quality of embedded previews - if it's like that - choose to save in Jeepeg in the camera settings and forget about this problem forever.

Most likely - enlarging a picture is better at revealing the flaws of pictures than their merits when viewed in the camera.
