God is in everyone. And how to go to him, through religion, through science or unbelief, is everyone's own business.

absolutely agree. religion is a stage of development, but one must not get stuck in it. god and the temple are within everyone.

I agree,God and religion are different. I stand afar off from Thee, I whisper in vain a prayer, Still I do not believe The task Thou canst do. Unconvinced that Thou art strong enough to protect me from harm, I wander aimlessly day by day, Back to my own circles. When misfortune comes to me I cry, My heart cries out in tears. And now I look at the ceiling, I can't believe there's an answer. As if I know there's a God, but I keep telling myself there isn't. I have become my own worst enemy, Pessimism has made me drunk; In this condition I am already exhausted. Why does God not hear me? Why doesn't He heed my prayer? Why doesn't He reveal Himself? Why does He not draw near to Himself? Or is He so indifferent to the one He promised to love? Did He pay the price in vain, Did He die on the cross in vain? These thoughts keep me awake, Sleepless nights again I seek the blissful comfort Of God's love. There is no love in my soul, I cannot fill it nor banish it, To know its price I must lose it at least once... Without love the stream that gives water to my soul dries up. But neither you nor I Can lose this unearthly gift. Let adversity and misfortune roll around Let my soul be hardened in earnest. I'm on my way back, I have a question to answer. Forgiving my childish whim, God can again and again Patiently and without reproach heal my little faith.

my opinion people need faith and confirmation in God, but not religion as religion is like chains on a free bird.

I do not believe in church! Because the church turns man into a slave! I have a positive attitude toward religion! It is very fascinating and interesting! I think that it is up to the individual to decide what religion to belong to, not the parents. I'm a Christian, for example, but I don't like being one!

And who says you have to believe in church? It is made up of people just like you and me, imperfect and sinful, maybe just striving with varying degrees of success for perfection through faith in Christ. In the church, in the best case, a person receives support, guidance, an opportunity for spiritual growth, something that cannot be received and achieved by a person alone. The church is the body of Christ, a prototype of the kingdom of God, but unfortunately many people speculate on that, hence the dislike. You have to go to church, and believe only in God!

Yeah especially after Da Vinci Code and the documentary on it. So very yes.

I don't believe in God but I believe in the church because it created God who created us.

The church is a pillar and statement of Truth. These are the words of Scripture. But I believe that you really have to build a temple within yourself first.

Response from 0[+++++]
Of course I agree the church has long ago discredited itself and has been distorting the very concept for centuries.

Response from 0[+++++]
I absolutely agree. Religion is certainly needed.

Response from 0[+++++]
God must be believed in! And the church can either be accepted or rejected why believe in it?
