I can't explain it to a person who doesn't experience joy, excitement when visiting new places In the USSR I was a non-vacationist, but I traveled half the Union - I was in Karelia, in the Caucasus, in the Crimea, the Carpathians, I rafted on the Chusovaya, cycled on the Pamir tract, I sailed Rostov-Moscow-Rostov, Kiev-Odessa-Kiev, St. Petersburg-Kizhi-Moscow, and when they opened the door abroad, I visited all European capitals, was in New York and Washington, at Niagara Falls, vacationed at the Red Sea, in Croatia, Bulgaria, Montenegro. You can dig in the garden, plant potatoes while you're on vacation.

It's a passion, the desire to learn something new for yourself or to meet something you already saw once, if you are not exposed to it, then there is no point in explaining it. Everyone has their own hobbies, although some have it related to their profession. Someone likes to embroider a cross, grow plants, write paintings or collect them, improve their body, etc. What the trick is, everyone chooses for themselves. Many are infected with several viruses at once, happy people.

to some extent it's an adventure, an idle life, a change of scenery, necessarily something new, always. If you're happy with the familiar path from the gate to the house in 30 years and there is no need to change places, then you don't have to.
