Only petite slim girls with boyish figures look good, attractive and slightly funny in jeans. Tall, long-legged women are good in a more austere and neat, well-ironed pantsuits. Full and broad-skinned girls and women are much better suited, still, skirts. Not necessarily long ones.

Now a lot of guys wear skinny jeans, at least in Moscow. Personally, I don't like skinnies on anybody.

it's clear that punctuation marks are for wimps and as for whether or not it's appropriate - that's up to everyone. there's no law forbidding guys to wear such pants. everyone wears their clothes according to their taste.
