I've been to Italy eleven times and I'm not bored. On the contrary, something new is discovered. My favorite city in Italy and in the world is Rome. I can go there endlessly. I personally do not like Milan. It seems to me a little bit strange and cold. It's not Italian in a way. Although for the sake of La Scala Cathedral and Leonardo's Last Supper it might be worth it. Florence is great. Although if you plan to see Tuscany then Florence is better left out of the picture.

I am also going to Italy and I came to the conclusion that there is no way to visit Italy at once! It is all different - or you need a lot of time and money! I am planning to go to Rome for three days and from there to Venice for four days and from Venice to visit Verona and Padua Milan - it is certainly good but not worth it.
