Differences. Located in different hemispheres: Nigeria in the northern hemisphere, South Africa in the southern hemisphere. Located in different climate belts: Nigeria is equatorial and subequatorial, and South Africa is subtropical and tropical. Its relief is different: South Africa has the Drakenberg Mountains in the east and the Cape Mountains in the south. Nigeria is a flat area, the Niger River valley. South Africa is an industrial and agrarian country, one of the world's top twenty powers. Nigeria is an agrarian country. In terms of population Nigeria ranks first on the African continent.
