I don't know, but my budgie, Kesha, started laying in 2004 and is still laying. We don't have a male.

Well, to begin with they need to be given human hands and taught to carry them so they don't drop any eggs!

Well firstly there should be a male and a female, then a special box to make or buy one in books about parrots, put this box in their cage and cover the top with a dark sheet or something like that so the light does not penetrate and if possible leave them alone for an hour
