SOUL? The Soul-Body distinction is conditional, inherent in a dual mind. What can be said of Soul is only that man does not have it. Rather, man and everything else has a SOURCE, which penetrates the entire universe with its rays of gratuitous love and joy. It is inexpressible in words, but accessible to the senses. Man is Body + Soul / Consciousness / + Spirit / Monad, spark of God /.The body is the lower triad: cellular dense-material substance, astral body / body of desires, emotions /, mental body / instinctive mind /. Genesis ch. 2, v. 7 The soul is what makes us alive, it is our very life. you can be alive in the flesh but dead in spirit. or you can die and save your soul from death. It is given to us by God. Only He can do with it as He wills. -can save it, can destroy it, and that's up to us. What we do with it.
