The film is very unusual, I liked both the idea and the manner of shooting. It's so TV-documentary, with amateur voiceover. This makes the perception even more poignant. Something reminiscent of Herman's shooting technique, although, of course, this is a full-fledged feature film. What is very nice - all the actors play a rare credible. While the characters are grotesque, there is no sense of contrivance. And that's worth a lot in these times. In fact, it's neither banter nor humor, but bitter satire. A modern version of "The Overcoat". Although I have not liked Gogol since high school, but the rethinking of the tragedy of the little man really hit home with me. No kidding:-

Shit. It's okay. You watch, you watch, but at some point you just lose the thread. However, kudos to Mamonov. After the third time I got it in.
