And where can you go without damage? We're all not top managers. If there is absolutely nowhere to go - take two weeks without pay. Take a break, think about it, look at the job market. There is no guarantee that somewhere is sitting waiting just for you a great employer. Or work for a while, make some money, and then quit. My son was very unhappy, how many times I told him: look, look for another, do not whine. He tolerated it. And then he quit overnight, no savings, and spent four months looking for a new one.
