Where do crayfish spend the winter? An eternal question that worries thousands of Russian people. All cultured people need to know where the crayfish winters. So. Crayfish - a freshwater animal that lives in the clear water of rivers, lakes and ponds. In the winter they do not change their place of residence, but simply sink much deeper, to where the water does not freeze. From late autumn to early spring crayfish lead an inactive life, sitting in shelters for 20 hours a day. Life of females during this period is more intensive than that of males. After all, two weeks after mating, which occurs in October, the female lays about 100 eggs on the abdomen and nurtures them for long 8 months, that is, until the beginning of summer, when they hatch out of young crustaceans. To ensure full development of the eggs the caring mothers have to leave the burrow from time to time to walk and clean them. In spring, when the water gets warm, the crayfish become very active, making their living, the lion's share of which comes from plant food, and protecting their home, which is a long burrow of up to 35 cm. So there is no mystery as to where the crayfish spend the winter.

In the lake!
In the pond!
In your special freezer.
They don't usually survive the winter. And if they do, they're rotting in their stomachs. Boiled.
where they whistle.
Oh, it's so far away. Trust me.
Under the rocks in the burrows!
at the winter hut
it's warmer in the deep.
I'm usually in my crib and under a soft blanket and sometimes I talk to you
In the store
they don't live to see winter
I'm usually wintering, but I can come over and visit:
Come on over. I'll show you where.
Where we're not.
Somewhere in a bad place. usually you are sent there with such phrases as: go to c. on c. or piDUy there. there and the crayfish are waiting for bad people
under the ice
I'll show you where the crayfish spend the winter!
Where the cows don't live
