Benefits for temporary disability during pregnancy and childbirth are paid to citizens liable to mandatory social insurance as amended by Federal Law No. 255-FZ of December 29, 2006. Persons who are not citizens of the Russian Federation are not liable to compulsory social insurance. Your spouse, who is a citizen of the Russian Federation on the basis of a certificate issued by the maternity hospital and on the basis of the child's birth certificate can receive a childbirth allowance in the accounting department at his place of work.
