They will accept it in any case - and send it for examination up to 2 weeks under the Consumer Rights Act. If it is found that the defect was not the fault of the Consumer, you will be replaced. It is a good idea to make sure that you have an official model, and not a Chinese knockoff. Look at the stickers under the battery, compare what is written in the warranty documents and feel free to go to the service center. As a last resort perform a paid repair to replace this unit.
