Well, if you plan to buy HDDVD, then you're welcome. But I don't see the point. The changes in TV broadcasting are scheduled to take place from 2007 to 2018. Do you think your TV will survive till 2018? And won't the broadcasting standard change by then?

Then there's no point in overpaying for the now unnecessary enhanced features. When there will be a large number of data carriers and then buy a technique to the same and the price tag will decrease.
