With a diagnosis of WPW Vpv syndrome, the army is forbidden. They don't enlist because of the high risks. No matter whether the disease manifests itself by arrhythmias - any form of the syndrome can progress to serious complications and lead to disability and even death - sudden arrhythmic death. Therefore, the army life with constant physical exertion is contraindicated for the patient. Sometimes in practice it is possible to meet cases when the military medical board gives a draftee a "D" for DPA, due to which the young man receives a deferment for a year at the conscription board meeting. Such a decision is illegal and can be appealed at a higher draft board - at the CMC.

The military registration and enlistment office will send you to the Cardiology Department of a hospital for examination. If confirmed, you will receive a military ID.
