Very hard to start when cold. If you start it on warm it works fine without the choke for about 10 seconds and then it stalls?

the idle system there is a separate system and it is engaged, also look for air leakage in all diaphragms connected to the intake manifold and on the carb itself?

the idle speed system is separate there and you should look for air leakage in all the diaphragms connected to the intake manifold and on the carb itself

Bite off the needle on the solenoid valve and enjoy your ride.

This is probably the carburetor and the fuel system, pump and lines, etc. I had this on 2107 when the tank was almost empty. Slag came from the bottom and the engine started to stall horribly, no power, I shift gear and it would start again from speed on the suction pump and got to a gas station and you can also try changing the spark plug wire from third to fourth cylinder and vice versa and let it bleep

Check intake manifold and make sure it is not loose or the gasket is worn out.

It is not an electrics at first sight the needle is stuck.

First you need to put everything in its proper form and then we'll guess what you have done there and how you screwed it up.
