Because megalopolises have always attracted a huge number of bad people, it's easier to get lost there, easier to do bad things, etc.?

Cities force you to be tougher on reality, especially a big city like Moscow.

Do you know that our country is called Russia and there are so many violent people in it you wouldn't believe it!

They are everywhere, but in the cities there are more of them than in the countryside and there are more people in general. I agree that people in the big cities are tougher than in the provinces. This dictates the lifestyle of a big city, where everyone is on his own and to survive and get ahead in this life to some extent you even have to be tough and tough. But the degree of this toughness and its borders already depend on the personal character of each person of his moral principles and upbringing.

Because there are too many unkind people.

This is not true. I have lived in Moscow for 9 years. When I left, they used to scare me - what stiffs Muscovites are. They are normal people, sympathetic. Only because they live somewhat disconnected from the provinces, they don't feel some things. When they come face to face with someone else's pain, they always help. In many churches Muscovite parishioners patronize orphanages, work in hospices, and help prisoners. Some people deliver things individually to orphanages near Moscow. I deliberately do not write about how they helped me, so that I do not get the impression that this is subjective and that I was just lucky. Foam is always in sight. But it's only foam.

From a bad life!

Our city has a crazy pace of life. Survival of the fittest. And life forces you to get tough, because you can't do otherwise. If you try to relax, they'll stump you right away.

Less than in many other places.
