if you take a vegetable garden equal to one then the first digger digs at the speed of one six vegetable gardens per hour the second digger digs at the speed of one two vegetable gardens per hour fold the speed - 1 6+1 2=4 6=2 three vegetable gardens per hour then divide one vegetable garden by their speed - 1: 2 3=3 two hours so the answer is one and a half hours
