It depends. what you need this image for and where you need it. For example, you lead a dissolute life, but others do not know about it and for them you're a gray mouse and modest. You're fine with it. But if you think for him it is necessary at once you understand that the image is needed just to achieve some specific goals. For me it's better to be realistic and be yourself!

We idealize the behavior of the people we love. But when it does not coincide with our invented standard, we get upset and draw conclusions. We educate ourselves to the person we love. But it is all for nothing and we do not need it. We live in a society with generally accepted principles of behavior.
