Have you ever been to Kaliningrad? and got a better answer

Yes, it was. I'm still there: When I first came here, in 1989, I was shocked by the filth. I used to live in Lithuania. That's probably why it shocked me. I remember walking down the road near the market, there was a pile of rotting leaves on the road. And so along the whole length of the road. But now I got used to it, I even fell in love with this city. They say that we have the most beautiful girls?

Was - a very peculiar city If you have no other aims except sightseeing - it is not worth going Unless you see Kant's tomb?

the town itself is like all small soviet towns. authentic koenicksberg sights have almost all been blown away. what's left are rather pleasant ruins in the neighborhood. and i also like the climate and the sea there, as it's Baltic

Yes, and I liked it very much. I think it was after this city that I stopped perceiving European cities: Warsaw, Berlin, Dresden, Helsinki... And they say that the most beautiful chestnuts grow exactly in Kaliningrad.
